Vinny Curry is a professional American Football player in the National Football League. Since 2021, he has been signed with the New York Jets. In 2017, he won Super Bowl LII while he was playing for the Philadelphia Eagles. Curry has also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Vincent Curry was born on June 30, 1988, in Neptune Township, New Jersey in the United States. He stands 191 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 127 kg. He is a defensive end.

He attended Neptune High School in New Jersey. In 2011, he was named the C-USA Defensive Player of the Year. Later, he played college football for Marshall University and was there from 2012 to 2017.

Professional Career

He was a second-round pick during the 2012 NFL Draft. Curry was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles and he became the highest-selected player from Marshall. They signed him to a four-year contract in May 2012. In 2017, he became a Super Bowl champion when the Eagles won against the New England Patriots. He recorded a total of four tackles during the Super Bowl game. The team released him in March 2018.

In the same month, he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They released him after one season and he returned to playing for the Eagles. In March 2021, he signed with the New York Jets. In August 2021, he had to undergo surgery for the removal of his spleen in relation to a rare blood disorder. They released him in January 2022 and re-signed him in August 2022.
