He attended Wichita Northeast High School in Wichita, Kansas. Later, He played collegiate football for Iowa State University and was there from 2019 to 2021. While there, he was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year twice in 2020 and again in 2021. He was also named a 2020 Unanimous All-American and a 2021 Consensus All-American.

Professional Career

He turned pro in 2022 and was a second-round pick, chosen by the New York Jets. He was the first running back selected that year. He debut for the team in 2022 Week 1 and in Week 2, he scored his first touchdown.

In October 2022, he tore his ACL and was placed on injured reserve.
