He was also named the 2016 AAC Rookie of the Year and the 2017 AAC Defensive Player of the Year. While in college, he also received the Outland Trophy and the Bill Willis Trophy.
Professional Career
He was drafted into the NFL in 2019. Chosen in the first round, he was the 9th overall pick of the draft, selected by the Buffalo Bills. In his first year with them, he was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team. He was also named the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week in Week 13.
In April 2022, the Bills picked up the 5th-year option on his contract. In Week 12, he was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week award.
