Brandin Bryant is an American former professional football defensive end and a published children's book author. He spent time in both the National Football League (NFL) and the Canadian Football League (CFL) before transitioning his focus to creative writing and youth mentorship. He has jumped around the league, but he has played for 2 seasons for the Buffalo Bills.

Brandin Bryant was born on September 16, 1993, in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. The defensive lineman stands 188 cm tall, and played at a listed weight of 138 kg.

He grew up in Nebraska and attended Omaha North High School, where his size and athleticism made him a standout prospect along the defensive front. Committing to Florida Atlantic University, Bryant played collegiate football for the Owls.

Professional Career

Bryant went undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft and was initially signed as a free agent by the Seattle Seahawks.

His professional football journey has been defined by immense determination. After his initial stint in Seattle, he spent time with the New York Jets in 2016. Looking for consistent playing time, Bryant transitioned to the Canadian Football League (CFL), joining the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2018 and the Montreal Alouettes in 2019.

His efforts up north earned him a return to the NFL, where he signed with the Cleveland Browns in 2019.

Bryant eventually found a more sustained rotational home with the Buffalo Bills, playing there from 2020 to 2022 as a valuable depth piece on their defensive line. He navigated the later stages of his career as a trusted veteran reserve, taking on offseason and practice squad roles with the Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans, and the New York Giants.
