Eli Ankou was born on June 8, 1994, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He stands 191 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 147 kg.He attended St. Peter Catholic High School in Orleans, Ontario in Canada before transferring to Red Lion Christian Academy in Bear, Delaware in the United States. He then played collegiate football for the University of California Los Angeles.
Professional Career
He turned pro in 2017 and was drafted into the Canadian Football League but went undrafted into the National Football League. In 2017, he signed with Houston Texans. Then from 2017 to 2019, he played for the Houston Texans.In 2019, he signed with the Cleveland Browns, and in 2020, he signed with the Cleveland Browns. In 2020, he signed with three different teams – Indianapolis Colts, the Texans, and the Dallas Cowboys. In 2021, he jumped between four teams – the Atlanta Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans, and the Buffalo Bills.
In 2021, he signed with the Bills to their practice squad. They re-signed him in October 2022 and in January 2023, they signed him to their practice/reserve squad.
