Professional Career
Lawson turned pro in 2016 and he was the 19th overall pick of that year’s NFL Draft. The Buffalo Bills signed him. In May 2016, he underwent shoulder surgery, which saw him out of commission for a time. They signed him to a four-year deal in June 2016.
He played with the team through 2019. In March 2020, he signed a three-year deal with the Miami Dolphins. In March 2021, they traded him to the Houston Texans.
In March 2022, he signed with the Bills again. He said that coming back to the Bills had helped him with his mental health.
