Thomas R. Sweeney was born on July 1, 1995, in Ramsey, New Jersey in the United States. He stands 196 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 114 kg. He is a tight end.He attended Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, New Jersey. Later, he played college football for Boston College. He was there from 2014 to 2018. In his last year with the school, he was named to the First-team All-ACC.
Professional Career
He turned pro in 2019 when he was drafted into the NFL by the Buffalo Bills. The team selected him in the 7th round. He was the 228th overall pick of the draft. He signed his rookie contract with them in 2019.In July 2020, he was placed on the injured list after he hurt his foot. In October 2020, he contracted COVID-19 and was placed on the reserve list again. He contracted myocarditis because of the virus and required more time off.
He returned to active play in June 2021 and in October, he caught the first touchdown of his career.
