Jack Conklin is an American professional football offensive tackle who is currently a free agent heading into the 2026 NFL season. He played 4 seasons with the Tennessee Titans and 6 seasons with the Cleveland Browns.

Jonathan Jackson Conklin was born on August 17, 1994, in Plainwell, Michigan, United States. The massive offensive tackle stands 198 cm tall, and plays at a listed weight of 140 kg.He attended Plainwell High School in his hometown, where he excelled on the football field under the coaching of his father. He initially joined the Michigan State Spartans as a preferred walk-on but quickly earned a scholarship and developed into a dominant force on their offensive line.
Playing for the Spartans from 2012 to 2015, he anchored the left tackle position. His collegiate career culminated in an outstanding 2015 junior season, where he earned First-team All-American and First-team All-Big Ten honors before declaring for the professional draft.
Professional Career
Conklin was selected by the Tennessee Titans with the eighth overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.He made an immediate and extraordinary impact during his rookie campaign, starting all 16 games at right tackle.
His stellar performance in anchoring the right side of the Titans' offensive line earned him a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team and an incredibly rare First-team All-Pro selection as a rookie. He remained a steady presence in Tennessee for four seasons, overcoming an ACL injury in 2018 to return to form.
In 2020, Conklin signed a lucrative free-agent contract with the Cleveland Browns. In his first season with his new team, he proved to be a cornerstone addition, earning his second career First-team All-Pro selection and helping guide the Browns to their first playoff victory in decades. While his performance on the field remained high, the latter half of his tenure in Cleveland was unfortunately hampered by various injuries, limiting his availability.
Following the 2025 season, as part of an organizational shift to overhaul their offensive line and manage the salary cap, the Browns procedurally released Conklin in March 2026.
Heading into the 2026 season, he enters the market as a highly experienced veteran free agent capable of providing significant value to teams seeking right tackle depth and leadership.
