Eric Kendricks is a professional American football player. He plays in the National Football League and has been with the Minnesota Vikings since they drafted him in 2015. Prior to the NFL, he played collegiate football for UCLA. In 2019, Kendricks was named to the Pro Bowl. He was also named to the First-team All-Pro that year.

He played high school football for the Herbert Hoover High School in California. There he played under Coach Pat Plummer and was teammates with Mychal. He was rated by Rivals.com as a three-star recruit and he committed to play for the University of California Los Angeles.

He played for UCLA from 2010 to 2014. He received a number of accolades as a college football player. In 2014, he received the Lott Trophy and the Butkus Award. He was also named the 2015 Alamo Bowl Defensive MVP.
Professional Career
In the 2015 NFL Draft, Kendricks was selected by the Minnesota Vikings. They selected them in the second round and he was the 45th overall pick of the draft. The team signed him to a four-year contract in May 2015. He was also named to the PFAW All-Rookie Team that year.
In 2016, a hamstring injury had him miss the preseason. In 2017, he started in all the 16 games that the Vikings played that year. In 2018, the team signed him to a fiver=-year contract extension. In 2019, he was named to the Pro Bowl for the first time. He was also named to the First-team All-Pro this year.
