Kenny Stills is an American football player. He played wide receiver and was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the 5th round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Kenny Lee Stills, Jr. went to La Costa Canyon High School, where he played basketball, football, and track. His high school career stats are a total of 3,041 receiving yards.

He played college football at the University of Oklahoma. He was a true freshman and started games for the Oklahoma Sooners football team in 2010.

In 2012, Stills decided to skip his senior year in college to join the NFL Draft.

Career

Stills signed a 4-year contract with the New Orleans Saints on May 10, 2013. He was named the Saints’ fourth wide receiver for the regular season that year. Stills debuted in NFL in the season-opener versus the Atlanta Falcons.

During his debut game, Stills caught 2 passes for 86 yards. In Week 2, he earned his first start in the NFL and caught a 10-yard pass. In Week 6, he made 3 catches for 64 yards and his first NFL touchdown.

Stills recorded 3 receptions for 129 receiving yards, a season-high score he made during the game versus the Buffalo Bills. He also caught 2 touchdown passes during this game. In Week 15, he completed another season-high 4 passes for 47 receiving yards in the game opposite the St. Louis Rams.

In his rookie season, Stills registered 32 receptions for 641 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns in 16 games and 10 starts. The following year, he made career-highs with 63 receptions for 931 receiving yards, as well as 3 touchdowns in 15 games and 7 starts.

In 2015, the Saints traded Stills to the Miami Dolphins for Dannell Ellerbe. He signed with them a 4-year contract on March 8, 2017. In this season, Stills finished with 58 receptions for 847 receiving yards and 6 receiving touchdowns. In 2018, he finished the season with 37 receptions for 553 yards and 6 touchdowns.

The Dolphins traded Stills to the Houston Texans on August 31, 2019. On August 7, 2020, Stills was out on the active/non-football illness list but was activated on August 16. The Texans waived him on November 27, 2020. His statistics with the team are 11 receptions for 144 yards and one touchdown.

Stills was signed to the practice squad of the Buffalo Bills on January 4, 2021. On January 23, they elevated him to the active roster to play in the AFC Championship Game. After the game, he was back on the practice squad.

In 2021, he signed to the New Orleans Saints practice squad. On October 9, 2021, they promoted him to the active roster but let him go on December 7. The Saints’ re-signed him to the active roster on December 10, 2021.
