Tyler Williams is an American football player. He played wide receiver for San Diego (Los Angeles) Chargers, Oakland (Las Vegas) Raiders, and Detroit Lions.
He went to Cascade High School and played football, basketball, and track there. Williams attended Western Oregon, where he had a 5-year career with 184 receptions for 3,169 yards and 24 touchdowns.
In 2015, Williams became an undrafted free agent.

Career
Williams signed with Los Angeles Chargers on May 2, 2015, as an undrafted free agent. However, he was waived on September 19, 2015, and then signed to the practice squad on September 22. They promoted him to the active roster on November 21, 2015.
In the 2016 season, he made 2 catches for 71 yards in the game versus Kansas City Chiefs. Because Stevie Johnson and Keenan Allen were placed on injured reserve, Williams became the team’s third wide receiver. He finished the season with 69 catches for 1,059 yards and 7 touchdowns.
Williams participated in all 16 games in the 2017 season. He started 15 of these games and recorded 42 receptions for 728 yards and 4 touchdowns. On March 12, 2018, a second-round restricted free agent tender was put by the Chargers on Williams. He signed it on April 23, 2018.
In 2019, Williams signed a 4-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders. He debuted with them in Week 1 of the season versus the Denver Broncos. He finished the season with 42 receptions for 651 receiving yards and 6 receiving touchdowns. Williams was put on injured reserve on September 1, 2020, due to torn labrum.
The Raiders released Williams on February 24, 2021. He then signed a 1-year contract with the Detroit Lions on March 9, 2021. They released him on November 5.
