Terron Armstead is an American football player in the National Football League. By 2022, he plays offensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins. From 2013-2021, he played for the New Orleans Saints. He has been named to the Pro Bowl three times, most recently in 2020.

Terron Armstead was born on July 23, 1991, in Cahokia, Illinois, U.S.A. He stands 196 cm tall and weighs 138 kg. His hometown is Cahokia, Illinois and he attended the local Cahokia High School. There he played both football and track and was named one of the top track & field athletes in the class.He committed to play for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff from 2009 to 2012. He was also a part of the track & field team in college and played in the NCAA.
Professional Career
Armstead joined the NFL during the 2013 NFL Draft where he was selected by the New Orleans Saints during the third round. He was the 75th overall pick on the draft and he holds the record for being the highest ever draft pick from his university.The team signed him to a four-year contract in May and he started his professional career as a backup left tackle to Charles Brown. After a promising four years with the team, the extended his contract for five more years in a contract that was worth $65 million.
Around 2016, a knee injury kept him from active play. In June 2017, he also tore his labrum and it needed surgery. In 2020, he was placed on the COVID-19 reserve.
In March 2022, it was announced that Armstead had signed with the Miami Dolphins for a five-year contract.
