Darrynton Evans is an American football player with a return specialist and running back position. He is playing for the NFL team, the Chicago Bears. He played football in his college years at Appalachian State. The Tennessee Titans drafted Evans in the third round of the NFL Draft in 2020.

He was born on July 9, 1988, in Daytona Beach, Florida. Evans attended high school at New Smyrna Beach High School in New Smyrna, Florida, and committed to playing college football at Appalachian State University. As a freshman in 2016, he played 12 games, rushing for 217 yards on 48 carries. Evans also returned one touchdown and 25 kicks for 563 yards.

Darrynton L.A. Evans is a Christian and engaged to Aiyana Willoughby. Evans also runs a YouTube, and a Twitch channel is known as ItzLiveee.

Career

Evans was chosen by the Tennessee Titans as the 93rd general pick in the third round of the NFL Draft held in 2020.

He was put on injured reserve on October 15, 2020, due to a hamstring injury, and activated on December 7, 2020, In Week 15 versus the Detroit Lions, Evans recorded 57 yards from battle and a receiving touchdown during the 46 to 25 wins. This was his most memorable career touchdown.

Evans completed the 2020 season playing in 5 games with 2 receptions for one receiving touchdown and for 27 yards, 14 rushes for 54 yards, and 9 kickoff returns for 206 yards.

He also recorded a carry for one yard in the Tennessee Titans games versus to Baltimore Ravens during the wildcard round of the end of the season games. On September 2, 2021, he was put on the injured reserve and was activated in October. On October 29, 2021, he was again placed on injured reserve ending his season. Evans was claimed off waivers on March 11, 2022, by the Chicago Bears.
