Brandin Cooks is an American professional football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He played for the National Football League for the New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots, Los Angeles Rams, and Houston Texans.

Brandin Tawan Cooks was born on September 25, 1993, in Stockton, California, United States of America. The speedy wide receiver stands 178 cm tall, and plays at a listed weight of 86 kg.He attended Lincoln High School in his hometown, where he excelled as a multi-sport athlete in football and track. Committing to Oregon State University, Cooks played college football for the Beavers from 2011 to 2013.
His collegiate career culminated in a spectacular 2013 junior season, where he led the NCAA in receiving yards, earning Consensus All-American honors, First-team All-Pac-12 recognition, and the prestigious Fred Biletnikoff Award as the nation's outstanding receiver.
Professional Career
Cooks was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the first round (20th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.He quickly established himself as a premier deep threat in the NFL.
During his initial three-year stint with the Saints, he surpassed 1,100 receiving yards in both 2015 and 2016. In 2017, he was traded to the New England Patriots, where he recorded another 1,000-yard season and helped the team reach Super Bowl LII.
The following year, he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams, where he once again surpassed 1,000 receiving yards and reached Super Bowl LIII.
Cooks continued his journey across the league, spending three productive seasons with the Houston Texans (2020–2022), where he recorded two more 1,000-yard campaigns. He then played two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys (2023–2024) before splitting the 2025 season between the New Orleans Saints and the Buffalo Bills.
Entering the 2026 offseason, the veteran wide receiver is currently a free agent looking to extend his remarkable career.
