Kenny Golladay is a professional American football player in the National Football Association. As of the 2022 season, he plays for the New York Giants]. He used to play for the Detroit Lions. In 2019, he was selected to play in the Pro Bowl. In the same year, he was the NFL Receiving Touchdowns Leader.

Player Profile, High School and College Career

Kenneth Golladay was born on November 3, 1993, in Chicago, Illinois. He stands 193 tall and his weight was last listed at 97 kilograms. The wide receiver attended St Rita High School in Chicago. In his senior year, he was given the Blue Division All-Catholic League honors.

He first attended the University of North Dakota in 2012 before eventually moving to Northern Illinois University. He played for them through to 2016.

Professional Career

In 2017, he announced for the NFL Draft where he was selected by the Detroit Lions.

He was their 96th overall pick in the third round. He signed with the team for a four-year contract that was worth US$3.19 Million. He debuted for them in the same year but a hamstring injury forced him to miss out on a couple of weeks.

He continued to do well in 2018 under new coach Matt Patricia. In 2019, he became the NFL Receiving Touchdowns leader and he was also selected to play in the Pro Bowl. In 2021, a hamstring injury caused him to miss a couple of games.

In 2021, he parted ways with the Lions and signed a four-year contract with the New York Giants. The Giants released him from his contract with them in March 2023.
