Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is an American former professional football safety who played seven seasons in the National Football League (NFL) and currently serves as the director of player development for the Alabama Crimson Tide. His longest team career was with the Green Bay Packers, which he played for 5 seasons.

Ha'Sean Treshon Clinton-Dix was born on December 21, 1992, in Orlando, Florida, United States of America. The rangy safety stands 185 cm tall, and played at a listed weight of 94 kg. He received the nickname "Ha Ha" from his grandmother as an infant and fully embraced the moniker throughout his life.He attended Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, where he developed into a consensus five-star recruit and the top-rated safety in the nation. Committing to the University of Alabama, Clinton-Dix played for the Crimson Tide from 2011 to 2013 under head coach Nick Saban.
He enjoyed a spectacular collegiate career, contributing to back-to-back BCS National Championship teams in 2011 and 2012. His dominant final season in 2013 earned him Consensus All-American and First-team All-SEC honors, cementing his status as a premier NFL draft prospect.
Professional Playing Career
Clinton-Dix was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the first round (21st overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.He immediately bolstered the Packers' secondary, becoming a reliable starter and a playmaker in the defensive backfield. His absolute peak arrived during the 2016 season when he recorded a career-high five interceptions and 80 combined tackles. This outstanding performance earned him a Pro Bowl selection and Second-team All-Pro honors, establishing him as one of the elite safeties in the league.
Midway through the 2018 season, he was traded to the Washington Redskins. Entering free agency the following year, he signed a one-year contract with the Chicago Bears, starting all 16 games and returning an interception for a touchdown against his former team in Washington.
Over the final stretch of his playing career, Clinton-Dix transitioned into a veteran depth piece and practice squad mentor. He had brief stints with the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Denver Broncos before officially retiring from professional football as a member of the Green Bay Packers in late 2022.
He concluded his impressive NFL career with 522 total tackles, 16 interceptions, and four forced fumbles.
Post-Playing Career
