Mike Daniels
Mike Daniels is a professional American football player in the National Football League (NFL). He currently holds a defensive end position for the Green Bay Packers. Daniels is a Pro Bowl Player and is one of the strongest players in the NFL.
Born on May 5, 1989 in New Jersey, he was a football player and a wrestler while attending Highland Regional High School. He was a multi-awarded player for the University of Iowa. Daniels declared for the 2012 NFL Draft and was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round.
During his rookie season, he recorded 12 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, and 1 pass defended in 14 games. He recorded 28 tackles and 6.5 sacks in 16 games in the following season. Daniels increased his tackles to 47 and had 5.5 sacks in 16 games in 2014.
In 2015, he made 49 tackles, 1 interception, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 2 passes defended. In 2016, he ranked 95th in the Top 100 Players of 2016 and rose up to rank 84 in the following season. Daniels was named to his first Pro Bowl in 2018.
He was placed on the injured reserve list in 2018. His current player statistics are 225 total tackles, 5 pass deflections, 1 interception, 2 forced fumbles, and 29.0 sacks.
