Chris Harris Jr. is a professional American football player in the National Football League (NFL). He currently holds a cornerback position for the Denver Broncos. Harris is a Super Bowl champion and a four-time Pro Bowler.

Born on June 18, 1989 in Oklahoma, Harris was an exceptional track, basketball, and football athlete. He went on to become one of the most success defensive players in the history of the University of Kansas. He was signed by the Denver Broncos as a free agent in July 27, 2011.

Harris recorded a career-high 72 combined tackles, 1 interception, and 6 pass deflections in16 games with 4 starts in his rookie year. In 2012, he was ranked by Pro Football Focus as the 8th best cornerback even as he missed the playoffs due to a torn ACL. In the 2014 season, he was named to the Pro Bowl and was ranked as the top cornerback by Pro Football Focus.

During the 2015 season, the Broncos secondary team was named the “No Fly Zone” due to their advanced coverage skills and Harris was ranked 52nd in the Top 100 Players. In 2017, he was ranked 63rd and 86th in the following season. Harris was able to start for 12 games before being placed on the injured list on December 19, 2018 due to a broken fibula.

His current player statistics are 462 total tackles, 4.5 sacks, 19 interceptions, 83 pass deflections, 5 forced fumbles, and 4 defensive touchdowns.
