Odell Beckham Jr., commonly known by his initials OBJ, is a professional football player originally from Louisiana. He has played in the National Football League as a Wide Receiver for several franchises, including the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens, and Miami Dolphins.
Throughout his career, he won a Super Bowl ring with the Rams and famously made one of the greatest one-handed catches in NFL history.

Odell Cornelious Beckham Jr. was born on November 5, 1992, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States. The Wide Receiver stands 180 cm tall, and his weight was last listed at 91 kg.He attended Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans. Following graduation, Beckham committed to play for Louisiana State University from 2011 to 2013.
During his time with the Tigers, he started the 2012 BCS National Championship Game as a freshman and later won the Paul Hornung Award and earned First-team All-American honors following his junior season.
Professional Career
He was selected by the New York Giants during the 2014 NFL Draft. They picked him in round 1 and he was the 12th overall selection.During his professional career, he burst onto the scene in New York. Despite missing the first four games of his rookie season, he broke numerous rookie receiving records, recorded an iconic one-handed touchdown catch against the Dallas Cowboys, and won the 2014 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award. He became the fastest player in NFL history to reach 200 career receptions and 4,000 career receiving yards.
After a productive stint with the Cleveland Browns, Beckham was signed by the Los Angeles Rams midway through the 2021 season, ultimately helping the team win Super Bowl LVI before tearing his ACL during the game. After rehabbing throughout 2022, he returned to play for the Baltimore Ravens in 2023 and the Miami Dolphins in 2024. As of 2026, he remains a free agent looking for his next team.
Off the field, Beckham has engaged in numerous philanthropic efforts, raising money for cancer research, feeding hungry Americans, and donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to Hurricane Harvey relief and Louisiana flood repair.
