Davante Adams

Davante Adams is a professional American football player. He plays in the National Football League for the Las Vegas Raiders. He also used to play for the Green Bay Packers. As of 2022, Adams is a five-time Pro Bowler. In 2020, he also led the NFL in receiving touchdowns.

Player Profile, High School, and College Career

Born on December 24, 1992, in California. A wide receiver, he stands 185 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 98 kg. Adams went to Palo Alto High School and led the school to the CIF State Championship.

He went on to attend California State University where he set records for receptions and touchdown receptions. He declared for the 2014 NFL Draft and was selected by the Green Bay Packers.

Professional Career

During his rookie year, he scored his first NFL touchdown in a victory against the Minnesota Vikings. In 2015, he suffered from an ankle and a knee injury which greatly hindered his performance. He became the Offensive Player of the Week after recording five touchdowns in 2016.

Adams’ 2017 season was riddled with injuries but he was still able to rank 45th in the Top 100 Players of 2018. He recorded his career-best 166 yards on 10 receptions but was forced to end the season early due to a knee injury.

Despite the injuries of 2017, he was named to the Pro Bowl for the first time that year. He has since been named to the Pro Bowl four more times. In 2020 and 2021, he was also named to the First-team All-Pro. In 2020, he led the NFL in receiving touchdowns.

In March 2022, the Green Bay Packers placed the franchise tag on him but he refused the tag and he later signed with the Las Vegas Raiders. He signed a five-year deal with the Raiders for a reported $141.25 million.
