Keenan Allen is a professional American football player in the National Football League (NFL). He currently holds the wide receiver position in the San Diego Chargers. He is a two-time Pro Bowl and an AP NFL Comeback Player of the Year.

Born on April 27, 1992 in North Carolina, Allen ran track and played basketball and football while attending Northern Guilford High School. He went on to play for the University of California, Berkeley and set records in passes and touchdowns.

He declared for the 2013 NFL Draft and was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers in the third round. During his rookie year, he led the league rookies with 71 receptions under his belt and became the second rookie in NFL history to record 2 touchdowns and 100 receiving yards in a playoff game.

Allen suffered from a broken right collarbone in the 2014 season, a kidney injury in the 2015 season, and an ACL tear in the 2016 season. He returned strong in the 2017 season and was named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year. His current player statistics are 420 receptions, 5,206 receiving yards, 28 receiving touchdowns, and 1 interception.
