A. Green

Adriel Jeremiah Green is a professional American football player in the National Football League (NFL). He currently holds the wide receiver position for the Cincinnati Bengals. Green used to hold the record for catching more passes than any other player during their first three seasons in the league.

Born on July 13, 1988 in Summerville, Green played track, basketball, and football at Summerville High School. He then played for the University of Georgia where he recorded 23 touchdowns and 166 receptions for 2,619 yards in three seasons. In 2011, he declared for the NFL Draft and was selected in the fourth round by the Cincinnati Bengals.

During his first season, Green surpassed the record for most receiving yards by a rookie with 1,031 yards. In his second Pro Bowl the following season, he recorded 3 touchdowns and had 119 yards. He recorded career-high statistics with 96 receptions and 1,426 receiving yards during the 2013 season.

He was still able to reach a 1,000 yard season while being hampered with numerous injuries in the 2014 season.

His current player statistics are 602 receptions, 14.8 receiving average, 8,907receiving yards, and 63 receiving touchdowns. Green was voted to rank 16 in the Top 100 Players of the NFL in 2016. His rank slipped to 22nd in the nest season but he was able to record 8 touchdowns with 75 receptions and 1,078 receiving yards.

Green was placed on the injured reserve due to a re-injured toe in 2018. His current player statistics are 63 receiving touchdowns, 602 receptions, 8,907 receiving yards, and a 14.8 average.
