This week, I’m taking a look at the four teams that are left standing in the NFL playoffs. In this article, let’s consider the two clubs that will battle it out for the NFC crown and how they got to this point. national football conference

Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles (11- 6- 1) won a post-season Wild-Card berth. In the first week of the playoffs, they traveled to Minnesota where they met the Vikings. The team from the City of Brotherly Love beat the Minnesota Vikings, who had won the NFC North, by a score of 26- 14. Last week, the Eagles managed to upset the defending Super Bowl Champion New York Giants by posting 23 points and holding their opponents to 11. QB Donovan McNabb has been resourceful but certainly not perfect. The team’s “D” has come through nicely.

Arizona Cardinals

After winning the NFC West, the Arizona Cardinals (11- 7) met and beat the Wild-Card Atlanta Falcons 30- 24 in week one of the post-season. In week two, the Cardinals were hosted by the Carolina Panthers. The Cards controlled the game right from the start and won 33- 13. The Cardinals are playing well in every area. Veteran quarterback Kurt Warner continues to be the consummate leader and field general.
