Tony Romo is Definitely Back

With quarterback Tony Romo sidelined with a broken finger, the Cowboys were 1-2. Since Romo has come back, the Dallas Cowboys have gone 3-0. In the last two games, he’s earned a QB rating of 113.5, tossing six touchdown passes and just one interception. In each game, he threw for over 300 yards, completing an average of 62% of his passes.

This past week, Romo led the Cowboys to a 34-9 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. In the three games that Romo missed, Dallas scored a total of just 37 points. With their star QB at the helm, the team has put up 83 points in three games.

Romo’s two favorite targets in his latest games were TE Jason Witten and WR Terrell Owens. Witten had nine catches for 115 yards and one touchdown while Owens caught five passes for 98 yards and one score. Romo had 331 yards in the air.

The Cowboys’ defense recovered one Seattle fumble, made one interception and sacked quarterback Matt Hasselbeck seven times.

The Cowboys are now 8-4 in the NFC East, placing them second in their division. The New York Giants lead that division with an impressive 10-1 record. The two teams will meet for a second time this season on December 14. The Cowboys lost the first contest 14-35. Romo did not play in that game.
