Crease

rulestacticspositions

The crease is the demarcated sections at the ends of the pitch. This is drawn with white lines around the set of stumps. The crease defines the area in which the batsman needs to stand and the point from which the bowler should deliver the ball. When running to score runs, the batsman needs to reach the other end of the pitch and touch the bat inside the crease to complete the run.
