A bowler refers to a player who specializes in bowling the ball. The bowler bowls the ball by releasing the bowl from one end of the cricket pitch towards the wicket on the other end guarded by a batsman. A bowler is required to restrict the batsman from scoring runs and get the batsman out. All players in the team can bowl. Bowlers can be broadly classified into fast, medium and spin bowlers.
