Bodyline is a technique of bowling in which the bowler does not aim at the wicket, but towards the batsman. The intention of doing so is that the batsman must be coerced to defend himself and in this process must give a catch. In order to take such a catch, the fielders are placed on the leg side. Currently, this technique is unlawful.
