The Duckworth- Lewis method is a statistical method which was devised by Frank Duckworth and Tony Lewis from England to calculate revised targets for the team chasing a target incase of a match interrupted by rains or other valid reasons. The D/L method is used in One day and Twenty20 formats of cricket and aims at calculating what would happened if the game would have followed its normal course.
