The doosra is a kind of delivery bowled by off spinners. The word doosra is a Urdu word which means the second or other one. The doosra was bought into fashion by Saqlain Mustaq of the Pakistan cricket team and is now widely used by other spin bowlers like Harbhajan Singh, Ajantha Mendis and Muttiah Muralitharan. The doosra to a right handed batsman would spin from the leg side to the offside.
