Durham University Centre of Cricketing Excellence is the complete name of the coaching centre and the cricketing team representing the Durham University at the first class level. They are a vital team in and of the four university teams which play at first class level in United Kingdom. But competing against other university is not considered as a first class level match.

There have been many former players who have represented this team. They include Nasser Hussain, Mark Chilton, Laurie Evans, etc. The home ground of this team is the Race Course. The debut match played by this team was in 2001 at the Riverside.
