Cecelia Nora Isobel Mary Joyce is a prominent figure in Irish cricket, celebrated for her skills as a bowler and right-handed batsman. Born on 25 July 1983 in Wicklow, Ireland, she hails from a family steeped in cricketing tradition. Both her twin sister, Isobel Joyce, and all three of her brothers are active players, with her brother Ed Joyce even representing the England National Cricket Team.
Career
Cecelia began her international career at a young age, making her ODI debut for the Ireland National Cricket Team against the formidable Australia national women's cricket team in July 2001. Throughout her career, she has played a total of 28 One Day Internationals, amassing 518 runs with an average of 22.52. Her highest score stands at 77 runs, a testament to her talent with the bat, and she has achieved two half-centuries during her time at the crease.In addition to her batting prowess, Cecelia is also an occasional bowler, specializing in legbreaks.
