Sudha Shah is a former cricketer from India known for her skills as an all-rounder, contributing significantly to the sport during her career from the late 1970s to the early 1990s. Born on June 22, 1958, in Cannanore, Kerala, she represented the India National Cricket Team in both Test matches and One Day Internationals (ODIs).

Career

Sudha made her Test debut in 1976 against the formidable West Indies National Cricket Team. Over her career, she played 21 Test matches, amassing 601 runs with a batting average of 18.78, including a notable half-century. Her bowling prowess as an off-spinner yielded 5 wickets, with a bowling average of 64.20. On the ODI front, she participated in 13 matches, scoring 293 runs at a batting average of 24.41, and took 2 wickets. Her last ODI appearance came in 1986 against the England National Cricket Team.
