Abu Nechim Ahmed is an Indian first class cricket player who represents Nagaland. He bowls right arm medium fast and bats right handedly. The main teams that he has represented are Royal Bengal Tigers, India Under 19s, ICL India XI, Assam and Nagaland but also Mumbai Indians (2010 to 2013) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (2014 to 2016) in the IPL.
Career
Fast bowlers like to perform in pairs and one such potent blend is in the form of Abu Nechim and Yo Mahesh at the Under 19 level. In the previous World Cup, this duo shared 21 wickets between them. In the semi final, Nechim had figures of 4 for 14 and this was his 2nd 4 wicket haul in the championship during which he displayed effective movement under the Premadasa floodlights.
