Sajjida Shah has the wide experience of playing for Pakistan Women for the past 8 years and yet her age is just 20. She debuted in 2000 when she was 12 years old. In April 2001, while playing against Netherlands Women, she took 4 wickets for 33 runs and impressed everybody. Usually, she plays the role of a middle order batsman and bowls offbreak bowling at first or second change.
The best performance of Shah was in the International Women’s Cricket Council Trophy in Amsterdam in 2003. She took 7 wickets for 4 runs and Japan was all out for 28 due to which Pakistan won the match by 153 runs. After this match, Shah continued to contribute with useful wickets and scores. She was selected in the Pakistan squad for the World Cup 2009 in Australia.
While she is batting, Shah likes to sing. She says that this relaxes her if she is nervous.
