Dakshinamoorthy Kumaran

In the ICL, the Chennai Superstars have chosen Dakshinamoorthy Tamil Kumaran. He also plays for Tamil Nadu Under-16s.

From 23rd to 26th November 2006, there was a first class match between Delhi and Tamil Nadu at Delhi (Feroz Shah Kotla). Kumaran was allocated the No. 11 batting slot in the 1st innings where he faced 24 balls and with the aid of 2 boundaries piled up 14 runs. 1 dismissal was made by him in the 35 overs he bowled, out of which 12 were maidens and 116 runs were conceded. In the 2nd innings, he did not get an opportunity to bat. Delhi did not bat in this innings. The result of this match was a draw.

Interestingly, while fielding, he has not taken a single catch.
