Ishan Malhotra

Ishan Malhotra is an Indian cricketer whose main position is that of a bowler. He is an all rounder, bowling right arm medium fast and bats right handed. He represents Punjab team, Southern Railway Sports Recreation Club and Chandigarh Lions in the ICL.Presently, Ishan is playing for the IPL Franchise team Deccan Chargers 2011.

Ishan Malhotra took part in a List A match between Punjab and Rajasthan at Jaipur (Sawai Mansingh Stadium) on 26th March 2007. He was the opening batsman but returned back to the pavilion after scoring 1 run in 7 deliveries. Rajasthan won this match by 3 wickets with 6 deliveries remaining. Malhotra also played in a Twenty20 match held between Haryana and Punjab at Delhi (Palam A Ground) on 3rd April 2007. In this match, he took one catch. There was no need for him to bat as Punjab won the match by 10 wickets with 23 deliveries to spare. His first class debut was in 2001-02 against Rajasthan team in 2006.
