Siddharth Kishorkumar Trivedi is an excellent right arm medium pace bowler and bats right handedly. He got the chance to be a member of India at the International Cricket Council Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2002. In this tournament, he played in 7 games and picked up 9 wickets.
In the 2002-03 season, he debuted in first class cricket. Further, he was a recipient of the Border-Gavaskar Scholarship as per which he was selected for training of 5 weeks in Australia at Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy. When he returned to India, he was chosen in the India B team and participated in the 2003 Challenger Trophy.
Trivedi played excellently while representing Rajasthan Royals in the 2008 Indian Premier League. He picked up the wickets of world class players like Sanath Jayasuriya and Sachin Tendulkar while playing against Mumbai Indians and in this way helped Rajasthan Royals to emerge victorious in this match. Overall, he played in 15 IPL matches and became a favorite of the fans as he picked up 13 wickets. He was a member of the team that won the 2008 IPL trophy. He still plays for Rajasthan Royals in 2011. He is a good bowler still has shown his talent as usual. He was the most wicket taker in Rajasthan Royals in a match with Pune Warriors India IPL2011.
