Siddarth Kaul is basically a right arm medium pace bowler. The India Under-19 team won the Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2008 in Malaysia. Kaul was an important member of this team. He took 10 wickets at a bowling average of 15.40 in this championship and was ranked 10th amongst the highest wicket takers of the tournament.
Kaul has been a member of Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 teams of Punjab. In the 2007-08 Ranji Trophy season, he played against Orissa at Mohali and this was his debut match in first-class cricket. Siddarth Kaul’s father, Tej Kaul, was a member of the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team in the 1970s. Uday Kaul, Siddarth’s brother, plays for Punjab team along with Siddarth.
