Subramaniam Badrinath is a retired professional cricket player from India. He played for the Indian National Team in Test and One Day International Cricket. He has also played for domestic teams such as Tamil Nadu, the Chennai Super Kings, and the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Subramaniam Badrinath was born on August 30, 1980, in Kambam, Theni, Tamil Nadu in India. He stands 180 cm tall and he is a right-handed batsman and right-arm offbreak bowler.

International Appearances

He made his Test Cricket debut in 2010 against South Africa. Two years before that, he made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in August 2008.

Badrinath debuted in Twenty20 cricket in April 2007 at Visakhapatnam in a match between Tamil Nadu and Andhra. In this match, he took 1 catch and scored 24 runs in 21 deliveries while batting at the No. 3 position. This match was won by Tamil Nadu by 7 wickets with 13 deliveries to spare.

Domestic Career

He started playing for the Tamil Nadu team in 2000 and was part of the team through to his retirement after the 2014/2015 season.

During that time, he also played for the Chennai Super Kings and was with them from 2008 to 2013. In 2015, he played for a short time with the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
