Padmanabhan Prasanth

Padmanabhan Prasanth is a professional Indian cricket player born in 1985 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The major teams that he has been an active part of include the Kerala under 16 team and the Kochi Tuskers Kerala team. At present, Prasanth is an active part of the Kochi Tuskers Kerala IPL team 2011.

Fondly known by the name, Prashu, this slow left arm orthodox bowler made his first class debut in 2006 along with his List A debut. His Twenty20 debut was in 2007.

Of the 17 First class matches that he played, Prasanth scored 464 runs, at an average of 27.29 and a strike rate of 42.22. He bowled 1602 balls, taking 17 wickets to his credit. With right to List A matches, Prashu played in 20 of them, scoring 362 runs with an average of 36.20 and a strike rate of 107.41. He bowled 914 balls and took 20 wickets. With 9 Twenty20 matches that he played, he scored 38 runs at an average of 21 and a strike rate of 111.76. He bowled 192 balls and took 15 wickets.
