Chennai Super Kings will be looking to build on their fortunes as Pune Warriors come calling to the MA Chidambaram stadium for the IPL clash between the two teams which will be played on Monday, April 15.
The Super Kings have had some luck going their way after they won their last encounter against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in dramatic fashion as RP Singh bowled a no ball the likes of which have not been seen for a long time.
Michael Hussey and Murali Vijay are in good form at the top of the order even though the duo failed in the last match. The likes of Suresh Raina, Subramaniam Badrinath, Dwayne Bravo, and MS Dhoni are in good knick though.
Ravindra Jadeja has also been playing extremely good cricket ever since the turn of the year and he has taken his form into the IPL which will be good news for the Super Kings.
R Ashwin, Bravo, Dirk Nannes, and Chris Morris are also bowling well and picking up wickets which make the two time winners formidable oppositions.
Pune Warriors India were quickly brought down to earth after a brief spell of exhilaration when they were thrashed by the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede.
Aaron Finch had a decent first game but Robin Uthappa and Ross Taylor have so far been unable to live up to their billings and that has cost the Pune Warriors India dearly in terms of their results so far.
Yuvraj Singh, T Suman, Angelo Mathews and Mitchell Marsh have contributed their part, but that has not been enough for the Pune Warriors.
They were taken to the cleaners by the Mumbai Indians and the Warriors have to improve their bowling by miles if they want to have a shot at winning matches.
