The final one-dayer between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be played in Pallekele on March 28. The second ODI at Hambantota was abandoned due to rain on Monday.
The home team, leading 1-0 in the three-match series were 33 for no loss in five overs when play was called off. Bangladesh will definitely try hard to win the crucial game and level the series while the mighty Sri Lankans have looked very comfortable against the Bangladesh fast bowlers.
Tillakaratne Dilshan was terrific in the first game and continued with the same form in the second game before rain brought that to a halt. He will look forward to displaying another remarkable performance in the third game and help his team in clinching the series before he heads to India for the Indian Premier League.
Sri Lanka is very unlikely to make any changes in their team as they have clicked as a unit and will play the same members from the second ODI which was abandoned due to rain.
Bangladesh on the other hand, will look to get rid of as many fast bowlers as they can and play plenty of spinners as the Sri Lankan batsmen looked very comfortable against the pace bowling attack. Sohag Gazi will be the key player for the visiting team and they would expect the off-spinner to take quick wickets and restrict the home side from scoring big.
Bangladesh has strengthened their batting by bringing in batsmen Mominul Haque and Jahurul Islam. They replace Tamim Iqbal who has been injured and bowler Abdul Hasan.
The Sri Lankans are the hot favorites to win the game and clinch the series as they are far superior to their opponents in all the departments of the game. Bangladesh will have to come up with some magical performance if they have to look at upsetting the powerful home side.
