A game changing Sunday is on the cards with Champions League moving ahead.

A game changing Sunday is on the cards with Champions League moving ahead. Kolkata Knight Riders play Titans in the evening match in Cape Town.

Group A is currently evenly balanced with four of the five teams in serious contention for the semi-finals. Things would have changed though by the time this match starts as the teams keenly keep an eye on the match being played earlier in the day.

Titans have had a flawless campaign so far with two well-deserved victories while Kolkata Knight Riders never really got going and only have two points to their credit after three matches. Another factor engulfing the two teams on Sunday will be the weather, with forecast not looking good for Sunday evening.

Titans beat Auckland in the last match by 59 runs, a win that came quite easily in the end. The batsmen have fared well from their side and Jaques Rudolph is someone the teams are increasingly wary of as he smashed another fluent half century.

Farhan Behardein and Martin van Jarsveld provide further impetus to the batting order.

With the ball, Alfonso Thomas and Ethy Mbhalati have been amongst the wickets with the latter also being declared fit after a slight injury worry.

Kolkata Knight Riders, in contrast, have failed to clicked as a team and their fortunes were made worse by rain that ended their must-win game in a no-result.

With pride still to play for, the team will nevertheless be looking for positive results and specially some of the players who have been off color will be keen on making an impact.

Jacques Kallis is yet to score his first runs in this Champions League while Brett Lee has not had enough chances yet. Sunil Narine once again will attract attention after continuing to trouble the batsmen.

The match will be played at Newlands in Cape Town.
