Champions League T20 draws close to finalizing its line up for the main round as qualifying stage moves ahead on Wednesday.

Yorkshire and Trinidad & Tobago clash in the second encounter of the day with both teams knowing that a mistake at this stage could prove to be extremely costly.

Yorkshire kickstarted their campaign on the right note with a tense and close win over Uva Next on Tuesday.

Another win on Wednesday will assure that their stay in the African nation is not over.

At the same time, it will signal the end of the journey for Trinidad & Tobago as well as Uva Next although the two teams have their Thursday fixture lined up.

Yorkshire beat Uva Next by five wickets with three balls to spare in a match that was witnessed by few but enjoyed thoroughly by those who did.

The English county side will be looking to replicate their performance against the giants from the Caribbean.

Captain Andrew Gale was happy at the result but realized that the job was not done and warned against going overboard. His side will once again have high expectations from Phil Jaques who played a valuable 32-run knock as they chased 151.

Further strength to the batting will be provided by David Miller who has plenty of experience playing on South African pitches.

Trinidad & Tobago are in South Africa finally after reports of a last-minute pull out were quashed. The team is led by Denesh Ramdin and has several members of the ICC World T20 winning squad.

Given the way pitch behaved on day one, Ravi Rampaul would be relishing the challenge to bowl after a successful spell in Sri Lanka as well.

The pressure will be enormous on Trinidad & Tobago though as an early loss will send them packing.

The match starts at 5.30pm local time.
