The Match: The penultimate match of the Indian Premier League 2011, which will also be a knock-out that decides which team earns the right to play Chennai Super Kings in the final will be played between the Mumbai Indians and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Will look for a half century>

The game will be played at the M Chidamabaram Stadium in Chennai and termed as the second qualifier, will a semi-final of sorts. The winning team enters the final and the losing team crashes out, having to remain content with a Champions League T20 berth alone.

How the two teams match up: The two sides played once in the tournament before and the Mumbai Indians had emerged as the winners of the contest. But that was before the time of Chris Gayle. Since then, the Mumbai Indians have been moderate in their performance whereas the Royal Challengers Bangalore, barring their two losses in the last three games have won everything.

Ground Conditions: The ball will not come on to the bat and thus make batting difficult for the two sides once the ball gets a tad older. The opening batsmen will need to come out all guns blazing in the first few overs.

The Teams: The Mumbai Indians could look to make a change to their bowling line-up. They have only four frontline bowlers and the opponents are taking full toll of their fifth bowler’s overs – where the side is going for almost ten runs an over.

A good option would be to drop T Suman, who hasn’t had much to do with the bat and get in an extra spinner in Ali Murtuza. The other option, and a slightly more difficult one to execute could be to push Kieron Pollard out of the side and get in Ray Price into the playing eleven.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore will go into the playing eleven with the same eleven as the one that got beaten by the Chennai Super Kings. They had batted well in that game and so there is no need to tweak around with the batting while they do not seem too many bowling options to not allow wholesale changes to the side.

Players to look out for: The Mumbai Indians will hope for Sachin Tendulkar to get at least a half century while the Royal Challengers Bangalore will look to Chris Gayle to give them a flier and probably carry on to make a big one.

Prediction: Bangalore should be the favourites to win this.
