The Match: In the 36th game of the Indian Premier League, the Kochi Tuskers will play the Delhi Daredevils at the Nehru Stadium in Kochi. Being a home game for the Tuskers, they will look to continue inflicting the losses on to Delhi, who are clearly struggling at the moment. Needs to bat better>

How the two teams match up: The Delhi Daredevils go into the game with a loss to the Kolkata Knight Riders, after they had failed to get a move on while chasing only 149. Not that they have been going through a great phase in the tournament, having already lost five out of the seven games and staring down the wrong end of the barrel. needs support>

The Kochi Tuskers won three in a row after losing two before they lost another couple of games to struggle again. They have an advantage in the sense that they are playing another side which is so short on confidence that Kochi’s two-match losing streak may count for nothing.

Ground Conditions: This should be interesting. The last game had seen the Nehru stadium possess a pitch which was so conducive to pace and swing that even 130 was defendable – Kochi were bowled out for 74. This time, it will be difficult to assume that the pitch will hold any demons with the kind of pace bowling attack that Delhi possess.

The Teams: The Delhi Daredevils have been making a lot of changes to their bowling and that is probably one of the reasons why the bowlers have not been able to settle down in the tournament. What they probably need to do is to go on to have a similar set of those who can continually do a decent job – Morne Morkel, Ashok Dinda and Irfan Pathan should make it to the top three slots with one slot open for debate.

On the other hand, the Kochi Tuskers will probably look to get in Muthiah Muralitharan if the pitch allows and that could mean that Thisara Perera could sit out. S Sreesanth should get another go while RP Singh will be the key to the side at the top of the innings.

Players to look out for: Kochi need Brad Hodge to bring out his experience in this format of the game and try and get some runs. For the Daredevils, Sehwag and Warner hold the key at the top of the innings.

Prediction: Kochi should be favourites to win this against a side which has been very erratic.
