Yuvraj dropped from India side for Asia Cup

Yuvraj Singh had been out of form for some time now, including the IPL and was replaced by a lad from Jharkhand, Saurabh Tiwary. Tiwary has had an excellent IPL, but more importantly ended with an average of 100 in the Ranji Trophy in the previous season.

Ashok Dinda also maintains his spot, while, all the seniors except the aforementioned are back into the side. MS Dhoni will lead the side, whereas Gambhir and Sehwag will open the innings. The bowling looks strong with the inclusion of Zaheer, Nehra and Praveen Kumar, and there are four frontline spinners in Jadeja, Ojha, Harbhajan and Ashwin.

Asia Cup starts from the 15th of June and will see India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh play against each other in the tournament.
