Chris Gayle sent Sulieman Benn off the field in the fourth ODI between West Indies and South Africa after the bowler had sent down only four of his ten overs. Gayle was unhappy about the way Benn had refused to bowl from over the wicket when asked to do so. >
South Africa went on to beat West Indies off the last ball of the game to take a 4-0 lead in the series. Amla smashed a century while AB de Villiers also continued his form to hit an unbeaten half century to see the side through to a win.
Gayle said, rather candidly, that Benn had not suffered from any injuries, but had been sent away. He added that it looked like Benn did not want to be a part and that he had refused to bowl from over the wicket, which was the primary reason why the bowler was sent off.
Benn has been involved in on and off the field issues earlier as well, the most recent been his run-in with Brad Haddin and Mitchell Johnson. Then, Benn had been banned for two games by the match referee.
