Lalit Modi has reached Delhi after being almost invisible for most part of the two days, as it is learnt that he had gone there to meet his lawyers.

It was reported that he had discussions with two of India’s biggest lawyers, Ram Jethmalani and Harish Salve. This also fuelled speculation that Modi may be taking BCCI to the court. Suspense mounts over his next step!>

Neither of the two lawyers spoke to the media as they cited the client confidentiality. Modi, who had appeared to get to Delhi, looked like losing his cool when he was mobbed by reporters asking him for a byte. He refused everyone and even shouted, “Why aren’t you letting me reach my car? Why are you blocking me? Can’t you be gentlemen?”

Modi first met Salve in his office and spent close to three hours there, and then, went to the Akbar Road residence where Jethmalani stays. Jethmalani is also a member of the upper house of Parliament. Modi spent an hour here with the second lawyer, before moving to the ITC Maurya Sheraton, hotel where his staying.

Modi has kept a very low profile in the last couple of days and needs to answer to the charges that the BCCI has levied on him.
