The Chennai Super Kings will play the 50th game of the IPL against the Delhi Daredevils at Chennai. Both the sides go into the game with 12 points to their name after having played 12 games and will look to seal their place in the semi-finals by winning this game.
The team that loses it, will know that, not only will they have to win the final game of the tournament, but also pray that the rest of the sides conspire to allow them to get through to the semi-finals.
Chennai will go into the game, brimming with confidence, after their previous win against the Knight Riders. Not only did they win the game, but also won with total conviction, that means that the side did most of the things right. The man responsible for the win was R Ashwin, and his bowling would sound the alarm bells for the opposition; especially at the top of the innings. 
The Chennai pitch is fast becoming a spinners’ paradise, and that is the reason why the opposition needs to be a bit wary about how they approach the game. It is obvious that the Daredevils will need to assess what will be a good score on the pitch and accordingly bat; not going for too many runs in the very start.
Delhi will also need to change their bowling around a tad, and try and get in Daniel Vettori into the playing eleven. It is also time for them to put their past worries – and anger – behind them and concentrate on the game in hand.
